Recently I’ve been thinking a lot about people as reflections of fears and desires. People for the most part do not want to be ostracized and try to fit into a mold. There are norms all around us. These norms represent codes (systems of representation) we manifest through reflecting the subconscious fear and desire of others and ourselves. Understanding this, I’ve become interested in how we process information and make judgements in a digitally inclined world. How does the virtual world accelerate or decelerate homogeneity and what is its purpose? What does it reflect about our fears and desires?
